A senior in History-Media Production at Bethel University, I freelance to improve my media skills and learn about the wider Twin Cities community. My ultimate goal is to work in visual journalism or even documentary filmmaking.

What I Work On

Stories that show the lives and history of the people I interview. With slugs and ledes on those subjects being my strengths. On these stories I try to go as in depth as possible and learn the details of each perspective.

One of my favorite things to do is read and write about history. My favorite fiction authors are Ray Bradbury and . I enjoy being in nature and learning about the world around me.

Hearing from Hispanic Christian community

It is quiet in the classroom as the leaders from Destino set up snacks and drinks, laid out packets on desks, and placed Bibles at the center of the room. The second Poder meeting owas about to start and the group is still settled in.

“We decided to start a community group on Mondays for Bible study, and the focus of it is to be Latinx in Christ,” Voz Latinx Director Emely Cajillo-Hernandez said.
